The Eighth Annual Primary Sports Day of BVM Global@ Perungudi, Chennai was celebrated on 16th December, 2017 at DB Jain College grounds, Thoraipakkam. Dr K Jothi Dayanandan, Associate professor, YMCA College of Physical Education was the chief guest and Ms.Hima Bindu, Head HR, BVM Global Group of Schools was the guest of honour .The day began with the unfurling of the school flag and the declaration of the Meet open by the Chief Guest. This was followed by the lighting of the flame by the school’s Sports representatives. A spectacular, impressive, and a well synchronized March Past by the four Houses contingents rendered the spectators speechless. Thereafter, the Sports Secretary (primary Section) administered oath to the House representatives. The Guest of honour, in her speech, stressed on the importance of physical activity and healthy eating habits. The splendid field displays -The Free Hand drill, Ribbon drill, Helium Balloon Drill, Dumbbells, Hoops and Fan drill, Yoga and Pyramid enthralled the spectators. The 50m race was held amidst loud cheers from the crowd. The sports day culminated with the distribution of prizes.
