The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great aplomb. The festivities were held on 15thof August.
The celebrationsbegan with the Flag hoisting, flag salute, and flag song. The chief guests were Ishan Ranjith and Havirdhani of class 12. They were escorted by the Principal, Vice-principal, and Headmistress.
There was music, dance performances, a mime, a speech in Sanskrit, a Hindi skit, a thought-provoking Tamil Pattimandram on the topic ‘Technology a boon or a bane’ which was judged by Mr.Vasim Basha, parent of our student and Ms. Meenakshi, and a Group Discussion on Sustainable Development Goals. The Principal addressed the gathering.
The primary celebrations saw the students engage further with competitions on Iconic India, Varnajalam, Tiranga Cuisine, and The Pride of India.The little ones from kindergarten dressed up as freedom fighters. There were energetic song and dance performances, a monologue on freedom fighters, a speech, and a patriotic drama in Tamil denoting the life of Tirupur Kumaran. An Art mela was also held for students of class 5.
