FIELD TRIP (PRE-KG, LKG& UKG) 2016-17 Pre-Kg went for a bus ride on 16th of February 2017 as part of their transport theme. They enjoyed seeing the different modes of transport and the traffic signal. They were very happy to see the train going on a track and on the overhead bridge. It was an enjoyable ride for the kids. The LKG children were taken to a vegetable market named “PazhamudirCholai” in Shastrinagar on 20th February 2017 where they could feel and touch the fruits and vegetables. They could identify their names with their colours and textures. They realised that some fruits and vegetables had a different colour when cut. This was a learning outcome for them. It was an informative and useful trip for them. The UKG Children went to a Goshala on 6th February 2017 as part of their field trip. They enjoyed seeing 40 to 50 cows in one place and were very excited to feed them. The calves were their favourite because they could touch them. The process of milk packaging was explained to them. It was a memorable trip for the children in which they related their classroom teaching to real life situations.
