Project Day 2016-17
Students of BVM GLOBAL@ PERUNGUDI celebrated their project day on 22nd October 2016 with great enthusiasm. The theme was ‘Food – Farm to table’. The children learnt about various facets of food beginning with the sources of foods to the end product, their preservation process, adulteration, medicinal values, different cuisines of around the world, table etiquettes, storage of food and consumption with its patterns. Along this culinary journey they also learnt the interdependence between humans and the Environment with relation to food consumption. It was a treat for the eyes and food for thought. The guests of honour were Mrs.R.Kalpana, additional director of National Agro Foundation and Mr.Uday Kumar, owner of Nala’s Appa Kadai, chain of restaurants.
