Pongal celebration was held with lots of energy with enthusiasm. Students participated with vigour and rendered a variety of devotional songs. The speeches in Tamil and Hindi highlighted the significance and importance of the harvest festival and how this festival is celebrated in different states all over India. Classes 4 & 5 students performed a graceful dance which threw light on the cultural heritage of Tamilnadu. Students were shown the live preparation of Pongal (chakarai Pongal) in the school ground.
