Independence Day, celebrated on 15th August 2022, filled the school premises with immense enthusiasm and respect. The school was adorned with tricolor decorations, including saffron, white, and green balloons and flags, creating a visually striking ambiance. Students were dressed in their school uniforms, adding to the patriotic fervor of the occasion.
The ceremony commenced at 7:10 AM in the school's open ground, with a large gathering of staff, students, and parents. To honor the sovereignty of our nation, the Principal of our school, Mr. V.G. Suresh, and our beloved Senior Principal, Mrs. Chitrangadha Chakraborthi, unfurled the tricolor. The entire gathering, in unison, sang the National Anthem, expressing the joy of our freedom and the pride of being Indian.
As the program unfolded, students took a trip down memory lane, delivering speeches about the freedom fighters who fought for our independence. They also enacted a play showcasing the bravery of historical figures such as Rani Lakshmi Bai and Subhash Chandra Bose. These performances not only educated but also inspired the audience, evoking a deep sense of admiration for our heroes.
The patriotic spirit continued to resonate as the students sang a moving patriotic song that stirred everyone's emotions and deepened their connection to the motherland.The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the event's success. To add a sweet note to the celebrations, sweets were distributed among the students, symbolizing the joy and unity experienced on this auspicious day.
