Sports is an inevitable dimension in the growth of an individual’s life. Even the most languid soul nurtures a sense of discipline, punctuality and accountability if driven towards being accomplished in sports. BVM Global Senior Secondary School, Perungudi has always had an impregnable belief that sports is not that which is to be learnt in isolation from academics, but an integral part of the learning process itself. To complement its belief, the school had been working incessantly for launching a feasible basketball court throughout the summer vacation. On the 15th of June, 2023 BVM Global, Perungudi launched the Basketball court. The inauguration ceremony was facilitated by our esteemed Principal, Mr. V.G. Suresh, Vice-Principal, Ms. Sumathi Ratnam, and personnels from the Head Office. The inauguration began with prayers to the Lord. Students of classes 11 and 12 were gathered along with all the members of the staff. What is a basketball arena if it does not sport a thrilling match! The occasion was enlivened by a cordial match between the school’s alumni and the present students of class 12. Audience couldn’t have enjoyed and cheered more.
