The 10th of February 2024 was a day to remember for all those who possess a fervour for performing and fine arts in our school. Yes, it was the day of inter-house cultural and artistic contest, Srujan.
Srujan, was conducted with tremendous success on 10th February 2024. Our students of various houses such as Ganga, Godaveri, Cauvery and Yamuna participated to exhibit their talent in group and individual events.
To hone students’ creative faculty, ‘T Shirt painting’, ‘Rangoli’ and ‘Mehendi’ competitions were held. Students exhibited their eloquence and spontaneity in ‘Quiz’ and ‘Shipwreck’. Contests like ‘Ad Zap’ and ‘Dumb Charades’ significantly contributed to their communication and persuading skills.
All the performing arts competitions were welcomed with even more cheering and enthusiasm. Students took part in Solo Singing, Group Singing, Solo Dance, Group Dance and Solo Instrument. The atmosphere was no less than that of a grand carnival.
The Chief Guest for the event Ms. Padma S. Raghavan, a reverenced classical dancer gave away medals and certificates to the prize winners at the Valedictory Function. She also rendered a soulful dance performance on stage to motivate learners of classical dance. The show ended with the awarding of the ‘Overall Winners’ trophy which was proudly secured by the Cauvery house.
